I thought that after your kid's "soft spot" became firm around 1 year, you would not have to worry about the nugget. Turns out I was wrong. Apparently, kids master the art of jumping around 2 years, which opens a whole new realm of potential hazards. I have perfected the neuro check and adopted it into my daily routine. Now she just needs a cape.
